BeXtreme 6th Anniversary

What a weekend we had in Formigal celebrating BeXtreme's 6th anniversary: 2 days of testing and shows by the BeXtreme snowboard team riders. In this snowboard video you'll see a summary of the celebration: snowboard tricks in the Formigal Terrainpark, board tests, a party at the Marchita après-ski, a celebration meal and much more. Riders Oriol Asín and Miquel Gallart came along, together with Formigal locals Leo Yaben, Danny Diaz and Sergio Rodriguez – plus, of course, brand founder Robert Vilamu and the Jinxo Films crew.

ECO-Snowboards Test 2018-2019 SnowZone

Every year we test our snowboards before putting them on sale, to get the best results and feeling. This time the following BeXtreme Team members came: Oriol Asín (rider), Mikel Gallart (rider), Dani Leiva (rider, who got injured on day 1), Marc Navarro (camera) and Robert Vilamu (founder). Everyone except the cameraman appears in the video trying the new eco-friendly snowboards. The test was a total success: we were very happy with the feel and performance of the new boards – very agile and flexible, with extra pop and torsion that you really appreciate. The new arrival at this test was the Dust, a new freeride model for piste and powder that, although we couldn't really try it out at the SnowZone, everyone wanted to strap into.

Sportjam San Sebastián

In 2018 we didn't want to miss this extreme sports fair, held on 2, 3 and 4 November in San Sebastián (Donostia), Basque Country. It was a very friendly fair at the Kursaal venue, right in front of the beach. We saw surf, longboard, bodyboard, bike, surfwear and scooter brands, and the Spanish Ski-Man Association, which didn't go unnoticed: they showed us how to maintain and wax snowboards properly. The fair was full of BeXtreme surfskates that we customised for the event with the Sportjam logo and design. We also brought BeXtreme surfskates so nobody missed out on trying them! We were the only snowboard stand, and people were very interested in our boards, especially when they found out they're made with eco-friendly materials.

Longboarding Barcelona

A full day of longboarding around Barcelona with rider Raimon Casellas, cameraman Alberto Gross and BeXtreme founder Robert Vilamu. We made this longboard video so you can see where to ride in Barcelona. We visited 5 different longboard spots: Sagrada Familia (not highly recommended because of the pedestrian traffic), Arc de Triomf (great for learning because it's flat and wide), Fòrum (ideal: pedestrian, big, with different spots and a skatepark nearby), Mar Bella (a skatepark with different bowls and ramps) and Montjuïc (it's far, but the sunset there is worth it).

Weekend at La Source Wakepark

Huge weekend at La Source, France. We visited this cable park in July 2017 with all the team riders and friends. We brought all our test wakeboards, tents, music, food and staff to spend the whole weekend there. The cable park is amazing, not just for the cable and its wake obstacles: the staff is really friendly and the area has everything you need. As you can see in this wakeboard video, our riders Fran, Pijo, Ivan and Ramon spent almost all day in the water trying new tricks on the La Source obstacles, enjoying the cable park like kids – even though it was cold, as the weather wasn't on our side. Trip to Vars-Risoul with Ochobajocero

Luís made this video of the great moments we lived in Vars-Risoul on the Easter trip with Ochobajocero. Filmed entirely on his Samsung S9, it shows the great vibe on these trips. You'll see lots of snow and the odd trick, but it was much more than that: laughs, friendships, a trip to hospital, a romance or two, après-ski beers, an improvised helicopter, firefighters, the residence caretaker handing out firewood… Loads of unforgettable experiences that made us live life to the full. Eco-snowboards Test in Grandvalira

Test weekend in Grandvalira! We travelled to Andorra to test our new eco-snowboards. On Saturday 17 February we were at the Xavi Snowpark in Grau Roig and then at night at the Sunset Park Peretol. On Sunday we went to El Tarter and set up the stand right under the snowpark chairlift. Funny story: we came across a boardercross competition, our rider Siset signed up and won it – 1st place on the podium!

ISPO Munich 2018

This year we went back to ISPO Munich. It's always productive to see the new trends and make contacts. ISPO Munich is the most important international sports fair, and of course action and extreme sports such as snowboarding and longboarding play a big role. We saw handmade longboards and snowboards with unique shapes and materials, suits with wheels for lying-down downhill, skates with bike wheels… but electric longboards and scooters stole the show – definitely a growing trend because they're practical and save money.

In this 1-minute video we've tried to sum up the newest and most striking products and give a quick overview of what you could do and see at ISPO Munich.

BeXtreme 5th Anniversary

BeXtreme's 5th anniversary wasn't celebrated just any old way. To start with, we had a special guest: YouTuber Tipsbmx and his cameraman, who joined us all weekend. In this video, chapter 1 of 2, we sum up Saturday's celebration in 1 minute. In the morning we trained and warmed up at 360 Extreme in Andorra, an indoor park with trampolines, foam pits, a bowl for skate, rollers or BMX and much more. Then we did a show and board test at Sunset Park Peretol, Grandvalira's night snowpark. Immaculate Conception holiday in Les 2 Alpes with Ochobajocero

Every year on the Immaculate Conception holiday we go on a trip with Ochobajocero and our test snowboards to the French Alps. This time it was Les 2 Alpes, a charming little town with awesome slopes.

In this video you can see different moments we shared during the trip: parties at the Panobar après-ski, a fancy-dress descent, a barbecue in the snowpark, bowling and lots and lots of snow!

Testing new eco-snowboards at Xanadú SnowZone

As always before going on sale, the BeXtreme team tested the new boards – this time the new eco-snowboards at Madrid SnowZone (Xanadú). The expedition left Barcelona with new rider Siset and his father, Oriol Asín, Dani Leiva, cameraman Marc Navarro and the boss Robert Vilamu. We had a contest on the Ilovemyboard obstacle, let more people try our boards and handed out lots of prizes. We were all very happy with the new snowboards, more agile and responsive than ever. Come and try them at our next event!

Wakeboard Test Day at Comandowake

What a day we had at Comandowake (Avià, Catalonia). At Comandowake you feel at home: exquisite service and lovely company from both customers and staff.

We let people try our wakeboards and our riders put on a great show. As you'll see in the video, we had to use a winch at the end because the cable broke – the Comandowake crew are real fixers!

Wakeboard Test Day & OCP 4th Anniversary

Fun, learning, competition and power: that's how we'd describe the day we spent at Olimpic Cable Park (OCP) in Castelldefels.

As sponsors of this 5-tower cable – for many the best in Spain – we came with our riders and test boards. In the morning we let people try our wakeboards and our riders gave lessons to anyone who asked. In the afternoon there was the Bomber Eyewear Europe competition, where BeXtreme riders took part. There was even a wakeskate category!
A full, fun day where anyone could try our wakeboards and get free lessons from our riders.

Easter in Alpe d'Huez with Ochobajocero

What a trip we had this Easter 2017 with Ochobajocero!

About 300 people from all over Spain with one goal: a week of snow, friendship and partying!
We stayed in Alpe d'Huez in the French Alps, but also rode Les 2 Alpes, just 40 minutes away, as the pass included 2 days there. Les 2 Alpes was in much better shape, with better snow, slopes and snowparks.

It was a fantastic, productive week. We brought BeXtreme test snowboards to let people try them and promote the brand, as part of our sponsorship with Ochobajocero. It was our 3rd trip with this Madrid travel agency and we knew how much fun it would be – it didn't disappoint. In this snow and party video we sum up some of the activities and great moments. BeXtreme 4th Anniversary

What a weekend we spent in Andorra celebrating BeXtreme's 4th anniversary. On Saturday morning we went to 360 Xtreme to practise snow tricks and warm up. Then we went to Grandvalira to put the tricks into practice and do some jibbing at the El Tarter snowpark. And of course we finished the day at Sunset Peretol.

On Sunday we went to the Smoking competition in Arinsal, Vallnord. Mike took part, but didn't land a full run and didn't qualify.

Trip to Les 2 Alpes with Ochobajocero 2017

Here's the official video of the trip to Les 2 Alpes with Ochobajocero over the Immaculate Conception long weekend 2016.

As you'll see in this snowboard video, we didn't just ride: we also tested boards, went bowling, learned to wax and sharpen the edges of a snowboard, partied, met loads of people and, most importantly, had a great time!

Our next trip with Ochobajocero will be at Easter, probably in the French Alps again and, of course, with our test boards in different shapes and sizes.

Corona Party at OCP

We organised a great Corona (Coronita) party on 16/07/2016 at OCP (Olímpic Cable Park). Wakeboarding, sun, music, drinks and the best vibe.

BeXtreme sponsored the event with its wakeboard test and private lessons with its riders. Ivan Martín and Ivan Fajardo came as BeXtreme wakeboard riders, put on a great show and gave lessons to anyone who asked. The great thing about OCP is that you can do "doublets": 2 cables on the same hook, so 2 people ride together. An ideal way to correct and help people improve their wakeboard technique.

We had the privilege of having Pacha Sitges DJ Nuria Scarp giving it everything on an impressive wooden stage, as you can see in the first image of this post. Then 2 more great DJs kept the party going, together with the mojitos and cocktails made at the Corona bar. There were also Corona girls doing henna tattoos, a trampoline, a kids' area…

OCP 3rd Anniversary: Competition + Clinic + Test

From 9 to 12 June 2016, OCP (Olímpic Cable Park) celebrated its 3rd anniversary with a competition at the weekend and a BeXtreme test day + clinic on Thursday and Friday.

The BeXtreme test day and clinic were a great success: lots of people of all levels signed up to try the new wakeboards from Barcelona brand BeXtreme. Our experienced riders ran the clinic, giving practical tips to anyone who asked and doing doublets with them to put the advice into practice.

On the 11th and 12th there were 2 days of intense competition, with Amateur, Pro, Girls and wakeskate categories. Our riders Paula Macià, Ivan Martín (Pijo), Ivan Fajardo and Fran Cruz took part, although it was an eventful contest: all our riders were knocked out after falls except Pijo, who was beaten by a tough rider who finished second.

We saw well-known faces such as Kike Cornejo (1st in Pro), Sepe (2nd), Cristobal Roman (1st in Amateur) and Lluís (2nd), and Tunisi (1st) in wakeskate.

BeXtreme Wakeboard Test Day at Fun Cable

What a day we had at Fun Cable wakepark. People tried the boards and the riders put on a great show.

On 04/06/2016 we went to Fun Cable, a very welcoming wakepark in l'Arboç (Vilafranca del Penedès). As at all our test days, the goal was to let people try our 100% paulownia wood wakeboards so they could see if they suited them. They're very tough, long-lasting boards with medium flex. The people who try them make us very proud: they find few faults, even fewer when we tell them our direct factory prices.

BeXtreme Wakeboard Test Day at Delting Park

What a day we had at Delting Cable Park. People tried the boards and the riders put on a great show.

On 14/05/2016 we went to Delting Park, a cable/wakepark in the Ebro Delta, to let people try our new BeXtreme wakeboards. Our riders took the chance to show off their level and improve their tricks. Trip to the Alps (Vars) with Ochobajocero 2016

What a trip we had with Ochobajocero this Easter in Vars, in the French Alps.

A trip with 300 people and 7 days not just snowboarding, but also learning to wax boards and improve technique with the Ochobajocero instructors. We also set up a night snowpark where we gave out lots of prizes. And there was no shortage of parties, good vibes and fun.
People came from all over Spain – Galicia, Madrid, Cádiz, Barcelona, Salamanca, the Basque Country… – all with one goal: learning to ski (or snowboard) and having a great time.

The sponsors were BeXtreme, Buho Mag and Mr. Happiness: a great vibe between us all and lots of future collaborations in the air.

As BeXtreme rider and star of the video, you'll see Sergio Rodriguez on his flat-camber BeXtreme Flames snowboard, a wonderfully versatile board.

InEleven 2016 Competition in Boí Taüll

Edit of the InEleven snowboard competition at the Boí Taüll snowpark. A fabulous day with sunshine, music and a great atmosphere – we recommend you come next year. BeXtreme is an official sponsor and brings test snowboards for anyone who wants them.

2nd Lord of Wake Competition at Cubelles Water Park

What an event of wakeboard and wakeskate the guys at Cubelles Water Park put on last weekend, 10-11 October 2015.
4 wake categories (junior, girls, amateur and pro) and 1 wakeskate category with an impressive level.

As you can see in the video, there were 2 cool obstacles and 2 kickers, plus a pool raised 3 metres with a rail included. We saw lots of tricks and a high level among the riders.
Special mention to the 2 BeXtreme riders who took part, Markus Moyano and Ivan Fajardo, both on the BeXtreme Punk wakeboard.

1st BeXtreme BE A RIDER Wakeboard Competition

Video of the 1st BE A RIDER wakeboard competition held on 11 July 2015 at Fun Cable.
It perfectly sums up the great vibe on this special day, when BeXtreme organised its first wake competition to sign a new rider.

The 15 riders had to work hard to get through the knockout rounds and face-to-face heats to reach the podium.
1st place went to Juanito Serrano, who won a season pass at Fun Cable, a BeXtreme longboard and a t-shirt.
2nd place went to Ivan Fajardo, who won a monthly pass, a BeXtreme t-shirt and the sponsorship – welcome to the Team, Ivan!

Wakeboard Test Day at Comandowake

Melanics Open Freestyle MST15 Competition in Masella

On 31 January the Masella resort hosted Ride The Night, the 2nd scoring event of the Melanics Snow Tour 2015. Free practice started at 18:30 and at around 19:15 the two scoring rounds began, where riders could choose between two lines of obstacles depending on their style and nerve. Highlight: the winning run by the very young Enzo Valax in the Men Snowboard category, who amazed us with a perfectly landed 720! BeXtreme took part as a partner, letting people try its snowboards and supporting its riders. We're a young Spanish brand of high-quality snowboards, skateboards and longboards with customisation options.

WELCOME LLÍVIA 2014

Great snow event in Llívia on 1 and 2 November 2014. BeXtreme had the pleasure of sponsoring Welcome Winter for the first time, an event full of activities and the latest trends in snow sports such as snowboarding. It was a pleasure to meet the organisers and Melanics, with whom we've already signed a sponsorship agreement for their snowboard and freestyle ski competition circuit in Spain and France.
Our rider Sergio Rodriguez chose the flat-camber BeXtreme Flames snowboard to compete for the best jump. Although the double backroll didn't work out due to lack of speed or height, he took second prize with another trick.
Ricard Tena chose the double-camber BeXtreme Poker Star snowboard, pulling frontflips and 180 backrolls to take third place on the podium. Very proud of our 2 riders on the podium!

Obsession A2 Cabárceno 2014

What an event on 26/10/2014 in Cabárceno Nature Park! Longboard, snowboard, surf and flysurf were some of the activities you could try and watch at Obsession A2. In this video you'll see our snow and longboard riders doing all kinds of tricks, jumps, grinds and crazy stuff. Sergio invents a new sport, snowskating: riding down a slope with the Banana snowboard on top of a longboard and pulling frontflips, backrolls and a thousand other crazy things.

III HillFest Terra Nostra 2014

On Saturday 6/9/2014 the 3rd HillFest Terra Nostra took place in Montcada (Barcelona): a great longboard downhill and freeride event with lots of participants and a great vibe. BeXtreme was there with its stand as a sponsor, letting anyone try its longboards and wheels. Funny story: after trying our Santana 89A wheels, we let Oscar Solé use them to compete in the Long Slide. As you can see in the video, the level was high, although plenty of riders took some good falls. There was also a downhill competition and drift trikes – those playful, fun bikes you can do 50-metre slides on.

Blem Festival 2013 – Extreme Sports in Martorell

On 14/12/2013 a great extreme sports festival was held in Martorell. At Blem Festival we saw scooters, BMX, skate, martial arts, graffiti and more, finishing with concerts and DJs. It was a pleasure to be there with our stand as sponsors. The video is a less-than-2-minute summary of the best moments, especially scooter, skate and BMX, with big jumps, tricks and rail grinds.

Àgora Longboard Freestyle 2013 Valencia

Here's a summary of less than 2 minutes to give you an idea of how much fun we had on 09/11/2013 in Valencia. It was an extraordinary event/competition with a very high level from the riders. In our case, Dani Ramoneda qualified in both the Hippie Jump and the Fight, although he didn't win either. He first skated the BeXtreme Freedom BCN and then switched to the bamboo BeXtreme Skull 40.5 for the Fight.

Terra Nostra II Longboard Hillfest

Here's the video of the best images from the Hillfest Terra Nostra freeride/downhill competition in Santa Maria de Montcada (Barcelona). Although it rained for a while, the event was a success and left us some unique shots in the rain. You'll see the best Xtreme slides!

Skate Forum Competition 2013

Once again, the circuit organised by the Unió Catalana d'Skate has started. BeXtreme, as a sponsor, brings you some incredible images the riders left us on 6/7/2013 at the Fòrum in Barcelona.
It was at this event that we found and signed the skateboard gem Marcel Cama, who amazed us at just 10 years old.
