Difference between longboard and skateboard decks

The longboard is an evolution of the skateboard. Longboard decks are mostly used for cruising, dancing tricks, downhill or sliding. Skateboard decks are more for tricks in the street or at the skatepark.

Surfskate decks are the latest thing, with trucks that give you the best feeling for surfing the asphalt. With a surfskate deck and surf trucks you can move forward without pushing: just with the pumping movement, you and your board move forward. Practise this movement to go faster on your surf longboard.
